Transportation Authority

Yancey County Transportation Authority (YCTA) provides daily route service to all citizens of Yancey County. YCTA coordinates human service agencies and general public transportation for Yancey County. Comfortable passenger vans marked with the YCTA logo are used to transport passengers.

OFFICE HOURS: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Regular Routes
7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday

YCTA vans transport on deviated routes throughout the county.

Some passengers may qualify to ride at a reduced rate through a governmental agency. For more information call 828-682-6144.

Special transportation for groups or organizations may be arranged by calling the YCTA office.

Yancey County Transportation Advisory Board Meets in the Yancey County CRC Building in the Board Room at 10:00 am.
